We wanted a website that we could use as a tool to encourage and reach out to the 196,000 disappointed Republicans, Independents and Democrats who voted for President Trump in the 2020 Elections and who do not call the Hawaii Republican Party their party. Why?

As a newly elected District Chair for District 48 which is Kaneohe Makai North, I started to personally call on my neighbors who live in my district to see how they were doing and if they wanted to help raise up the Republican banner in Kaneohe. Of the people that answered my phone call, there was not even one positive conversation about their Republican experience. On top of that three callers called HRP criminals. Most of the other easier conversations included words like corrupt, weak and not caring. The other common remark I got, “Wow, someone called me!” Yes, we have a huge job in front of us.

Why does the 2020 Election Still Matters

The 2020 Election on the national and State of Hawaii level is still a disappointment with President Trump’s election fraud audits going on in the swing States. In Hawaii there was an epic voter turnout comprised of 196,000 disappointed Republicans, disappointed Independents and disappointed Democrats rallying on the streets and in the vote totals for Trump in Hawaii. The last time this kind of turnout occurred was in 1985 when Republicans in Hawaii could offer our two Electoral votes to winning President Reagan’s tally. President Reagan garnered 185,000 votes which was exceeded only by President Trump in 2020 with 196,000 votes. The weird thing, not all of these 196,000 votes were coming from the “strong” Hawaii Republican Party membership.

Impact to Kaneohe

When I did an analysis of my District 48, there are only 787 registered voters who are described as strong Hawaii Republican Party members who voted in 2020. I don’t know who they voted for but the 787 votes is too low to help support a 196,000 turn out for Trump. In comparison, the data I pulled from the Statewide Precinct 2020, the 502-page report found on the https://election.hawaii.gov website revealed that President Trump received 4,823 votes compared to HRP’s tally of 787 voters in my District 48. I don’t know if all 787 voters voted for Trump but let’s assume that they did, so that it works against my point. Now put this in proper perspective, in my district alone there are 4.000+ voters who do not associate with HRP who did vote for Trump in 2020. Did you also know that the current Democrat House Representative for my district won with a 5,000 vote tally? Does this encourage you?

Our Call to Action

We converge on the Republican Party because it is supposed to be the beacon of the values that we hold dear. The Democrat Party operates on different principles and values, to us mostly based on big government, high taxes and unlimited term limits. What matters to most of Hawaii’s people are surprisingly conservative even though we are a longtime Democratically aligned State. The traditional Republican values and principles drew the high turn out for President Trump in 2020. Most did not like Trump’s braggadocio ways but when the Make America Great Again (MAGA) policies were compared to the Democratic policies at work in Hawaii now, a large population stepped out of their traditional political roles and voted for Trump’s MAGA policies and thinking.

The Hawaii MAGA Connection

Not all Republicans appreciate the MAGA movement. When you carefully look at the MAGA platform, you will quickly see its resemblance to the traditional Republican values that affirms: lower taxes, smaller government, protect the constitution, small business friendly and invigorating the voice of We The People. However, when the members of the Hawaii Republican party fail at that, we call them Republicans in name only (RINOS). Our Hawaii Republican Party is failed. “Has failed” doesn’t fit because that describes what it does. “Is failed” describes what it is. However applying MAGA to Hawaii makes perfect sense because maintaining the Democratic status quo will continue to suck life out of our Hawaii. MAGA will bring life back to families, businesses and communities.

From RINO to Patriot

Now I can totally relate with the RINO part as I was an uninterested Republican working hard to provide for my family and get by each week with no plans except to survive. In 2016, I really was not excited about who I wanted for President. Definitely not Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump for me was a lukewarm, “Okay, I will vote for Trump.” Then for three years I endured the noise around President Trump. Then on one particular day in 2019, three newsworthy events happened on the same day that drastically changed the way I looked at mainstream media and President Trump.

My real education began on that day with President Trump involved with three unrelated events that I grabbed my heart and mind: the U.S. Embassy moving from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the announcement that Trump reached a milestone of appointing 275 Constitutionally based Federal Judges and personally participating in DC’s huge Right to Life march; all reported in one news broadcast. From that day on my eyes were opened to the lies put out by mainstream media and to the many Republicans who were really not about traditional Republican values especially in Hawaii. There are a lot of RINOS who are ignorant that they are RINOS and there are others who are purposefully RINOS that are more like Democrats. Later, I discovered from folks around me began calling me Patriot. That term sticks.

To the extent that values and principles are the goal, we need to first try to resuscitate the Party or it may be necessary to eventually bypass the Party. We need to restore understanding of values and principles through education in philosophy, history, Christian religion, entertainment. Think of how our culture has gotten to where it is. It has taken time and it will take time to return to traditional America. Meanwhile, we should prepare ourselves with that education so that we can give an answer when we are asked.

We are Called to be Both Heavenly Minded and Earthly Good

We need to be like Nehemiah, a government official found in the Old Teatament. I am going to fast forward to this passage where Nehemiah is overseeing the rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem while enemies are hoping for their failure in Nehemiah chapter 4. “Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens carried with one hand doing the work, and the other keeping hold of a weapon. 18 As for the builders, each wore his sword strapped to his waist as he built, while the trumpeter stood near me. 19 And I said to the nobles, the officials, and the rest of the people, “The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall far from one another. 20 At whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, assemble to us there. Our God will fight for us.”” Nehemiah 4:17-20, NASB.

Nehemiah had his wall builders work with one hand while the other hand holding a weapon. We can apply this strategic principle right now. With one hand we do work, we move forward and with the other hand we hold our weapon, which is our prayers. Now what is the work we should do? We get some creative input from God’s word. We are called to do good work. We need to let our light shine through our good works. It is by good works that we confirm the faith that is in our hearts. So during this challenging time, we are to grow in creativity and excellence in our good works. And in our prayers, we need to stand and pray from our identity as God’s child, clothed with His righteousness while calling on Him for His vision and His power to live in desperate times as these. I believe all God-fearing-conservatives need to be involved in the political process. For too long a lot of us, especially me included, trusted in the process without being part of it and now we are on the verge of losing the America and the Hawaii we love.

Do you love Hawaii? Are you also sick and tired of the erosion of our basic freedoms, endless expression of emergency powers, increasing taxes, human services programs that war against keeping families together. Our mission is to help you discover your mission assignment as an American Patriot and equip you, grounded in faith and the foundational truths that formed America and made it great, so that you can equip others to do the same. We are all called to participate. Now back to Nehemiah, with one hand we are to stay grounded with Jesus, pray hard and with the other to equip the Saints for works of ministry service in the political process. Don’t you think that this is a good place to start?

The Executive Committee of the Hawaii Republican Party is the Cancer hurting HRP

I attended the May 15, 2021 Hawaii State Republican Convention (virtually). It was my very first Hawaii Republican Party event. And what I witnessed with my own eyes, ears and my heart was election fraud at so many levels. And what fired me up was what Republicans were doing to their fellow Republicans. Since then I have been on a journey to seek justice for the Republicans who were denied their freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, lack of due process and complete disregard of the Hawaii Republican Party Rules and Roberts Rules of Order Newly Revised 12th Edition. I confess that I was a recently converted RINO. I will explain more about my digging my head out of the sand journey in a post coming soon.

The bold and blatant disregard for the rights of the minority American Patriots who Love Hawaii is still being covered up by the Executive Committee of the Hawaii Republican Party (HRP). Others before me have tried to surface this egregious event and ongoing violations calling for a new State Convention where even two elected State House of Representatives participated in HRP’s worst election fraud in history! There are three HRP District Chairs who told me I was spot on but due to Rule 316 bullying by the Honolulu County Chair, they did not want their names exposed for fear of retaliation. Now this is OUR Hawaii Republican Party. Don’t you feel violated too? I thanked these heroes for trying to make a stand. All they got was the usual, “Sit down, be quiet or we will kick you out!” It happened to me. I still have that County Chair’s email trying to threaten me.

Man on a Mission

“He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?” Micah‬ ‭6:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lord, we ask you for wisdom as we see the cavernous need ahead of us to equip the Saints for a wide open door of ministry. We beseech you Lord of the harvest to send workers into this harvest field called the political process where we ask for Your Kingdom come and Your Will be done! Come Holy Spirit empower your people to be your people in this dark place, to shine your light and love that many be drawn to Jesus. We pray for a resuscitation; an awakening. Yes. we need you Jesus!
